Is Mac running out of cats to name their system? For fucks sake, I hope so. Anyway are you mac hippies buying this latest version and upgrading your precious mac? If only I could afford a mac I'd gather the measly $29 for this upgrade. Hell, Windows 7 is $129, wtf?

I just recently heard about Snow Leopard. I'm a programming noob so I don't even know much about Mac's. That's a silly name though, lol. I'm thinking about getting one so I can have a Mac and Windows both.

If they made it so that it would run on a non-apple PC then I'd buy a copy if only to see what all the fuss is about, but my curiosity isn't enough to make me want to but a Mac.

I'm looking forward to seeing if the latest ubuntu can tempt me away from Mint. I doubt it but it would be rude not to check it out.

@WingedPanther: My question is why you wouldn't be looking at Karmic Koala or something instead of Hardy Heron. Isn't Hardy Heron kind of... old (Well I think it IS the LTS)? I'm on Intrepid, and I've been hesitating the move to Jaunty, but I'm gonna have to do it eventually.

I won't go for any MAC of any kind. AFAIK they are even more pricey than Vista and Seven. And that is something care for.
