I downloaded an intel version of MAC, and i read online that it does not support dual cores.. i need to disable one core.. is it true?
Yes, it does. You can find a lot of information about the Hacintosh here: http://forum.insanelymac.com
I've seen these computers for sale on apple.com with Intel dual-core processors. So I would definitely think it does support dual-core.
What problems are you having exactly?
Notice the keywords "downloaded" and "intel version".![]()
hehe, you don't download an OS, you buy it. Get it?
LoL. I needed to download it for it to work on intel.
The problem I'm having is that once it boots it asks me to reboot again, and /i read online that MAC does not support dual, you have to disable one core....
DUH really can't get it :S maybe it's just a problem with the installation.
Therein lies one of a number of problems that exist with Macs. That is why there never grab me
Well I installed it on vmware using a tutorial and in fact I had to choose one core emulation... for it to work.
I don't Hacintosh,
However there is a legal computer that is for sale that runs Mac OS X. I feel better morally when I buy it from a company. Some research found that it is legal, but is against the apple software agreement. They call it the Open Computer , by Psystar.
Not trying advertise or anything, but it is there
