I downloaded it yesterday, and tried it for a bit, but I don't see what's so good about it.

I kind of like the look of it more than firefox. Doesn't seem to be any better/worse however.

I never knew Chrome existed. Im surprised google didn't direct their support toward firefox...

ill be sure to give it a try then I get back home. I read the browser is capable od multi threading.

Looks ok, I haven't actually used it but one of the guys here showed it to me. I didn't immediately see a reason to jump from FF3 to it though.

    Re: Chrome?

Ok i installed it today first thoughts are : very very fast i believe faster than all other i've tried, if a tab crashes all other tabs work as nothing happened very fast javascript and nice simple looking environment. On the other hand i really really dislike the bookmarking although you can import your bookmarks from other browsers i found it extremely difficult to make new bookmarks.

    Re: Chrome?

Today John and I installed it on my laptop during breakfast. I like the idea of multi threading and I also love the look, but a few key disadvantages will keep me with FireFox for years to come.

    1. Each chrome process is about 13MB in size, so if you have a lot of tabs and little ram, you will run into problems with slowness. I usually run 20 tabs at a time

    2. Adblock isn't integrated in like Firefox's adblock plus extension. Without that extension, surfing most forums (even codecall) is a pain! I hate pop up ads and refuse to let them through more than once for the life of my browser install.
