Netiquette - Are you behaving online?

Well we all know that most of the people just get online and surf here there on the internet but do they know that sending tons of emails, spamming on forums, spamming on IRC is wrong? Well do they actually care? I think that if everybody would just follow the simple rules of Netiquette than the internet would be a better place, and even safer for kids to surf it, but that I see that as something remote but still I blogged about it on my new blog, perhaps some people in here could read it and give me any feedback of what they think of Netiquette and if they agree that is those simple rules were followed we would have a better Internet for us and our kids!!

Netiquette (Internet Etiquette) - How to behave online for a better online experience | TheComputerMaster Technology Blog

    Thanks.

I actually had a class that spent about 2-3 weeks covering this topic. Excellent read for anyone, thanks for the link.

I wish that there was a way to get rid of the spamming bastards. My gmail receives more SPAM than any other type of email.

Well I don't spam with email and I don't spam on forums. There are a lot of people who are addicted to forwarding chain emails and I hate people who do that, unless the email is really really good or important.

    Nice one TheComputerMaster!
    But spam will never stop...
I mean: I was surfing on a hacking board and I saw the following topic:
    1 million e-mail addresses + 250.000 Yahoo! e-Mails.

Yeah but I bet most of those email addresses are worthless, not only because they probably aren't used anymore but because they are public-access they will get abused so much.

Yeah, maybe. But the point is that SPAM will never stop! People, even if educated, still do these things! It's human nature to go against what's right.
