I have to say that I don't thing global warming is really happening or going to happen. Wasn't it not long ago that everyone was concerned with global cooling?

Recent theories also suggest that solar activity is the dominant factor in any global warming/cooling activity, vastly outweighing anything we may do.

The sun's energy output varies cyclically, resulting in more energy at some times (warming) and less energy at others (cooling). Looking at average temperatures over a long period of time reveals regular spikes and dips in temperature. We're right on schedule for a spike.

The greenhouse effect is the cause of global warming. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.

Except the greenhouse gasses don't create the effects some (well publicized) scientists say they do.
