I'm thinking about getting a new degree from an online school. Which school is the best? Do these degrees get looked down upon? Anyone here have a degree from online college?

I asked a boss I had once this same question. His answer was "I wouldn't look at it the same as I would a traditional degree". As long as you can do what your degree states I don't think it would be a big problem. I've noticed most people don't even get jobs in their degree field.
I don't think online degrees are as good as traditional degrees when looking for a job. I don't know why, maybe people think you do not actually learn anything in an online school.

University of Phoenix is probably the most popular online school. I think online schools are great, it allows you to learn all you need to from the comfort of your own home.
It depends a lot on the school. You'd have to research the individual school's reputation before deciding on one. With something like University of Phoenix, everyone knows it's an online degree, but there are other schools that do both online and in-seat. In those schools they won't know you did course work online unless you tell them. Ask yourself this, if you were hiring, would you hire from the local four-year college or from University of Phoenix, all other things equal?
If I was hiring someone, I would definately take the person who went to the regular college. Too many things are online these days... I mean, I love the Internet, but I still am conservative on some issues (actually, that is the only issue I am conservative on).
