I know this isn't exactly the right thread but I was talking about it before here, I ended up getting a Netbook. Runs Windows 7 which is okay I guess.
Also, I partitioned my desktop harddrive and tried installing Arch on but it friggen said I needed a root pw which I don't even have so idk what's up with that. Guess I'll redownload and try again another day...

Sometimes words ain't enough to express something. That's why computer scientists use double words.
Default users root and arch got no password, just log in when it says "archiso login:", type "root".
Once you're logged into root type: "/arch/setup" make sure you set up a root password in installation, make it memorable.

The market share may be off somewhat due to the nature of the method used to track usage share. The W3 counter uses the percentage of people visiting a given set of sites that use a certain OS or browser, and people who use alternative software are the ones who spend more time on their computers and thus more time on the internet. IE's market share may be as high as 80%, and Windows may be as high as 99% for all we know.
