I love taking them. I always score high on them, and I love it when something tells me I'm a geek or a nerd. It makes me so proud of myself.
I scored "Total geek" on this one:
Geek Test: the original test from innergeek
Life's too short to be cool. Be a nerd.
I got total geek. Of course, why would I want a 100 sided die when I already have one?
I took this many years ago and I got bored taking it again at around 25% lol
I'm not easily distra... squirrel!
So... apparently I'm a "Total Geek" according to this test as well, at 29.98028%.
All this because I wear glasses, program with C++, know the difference between octal and octane, and know what THAC0 means. O_o
Wow I changed my sig!
Total Geek - 16.9%
Brings back memories.skipped parties to program or repair computers
to read or study
to talk online
because I'm not cool enough to go
I scored high because:
- I used to program a graphing calculator. It was actually the first thing I programmed.
- I was in smart classes in high school.
- I play Magic: The Gathering.
- I've read a lot of science fiction (not reading any right now though).
- I exaggerated on the TV shows thing. I don't regularly watch Star Trek, Babylon 5, or the History Channel, but I checked them because I've watched them several times and enjoyed them. Plus you get extra points for exaggerating.
- I watched most of the movies listed.
- I have 3 computers: 2 Mac laptops and an Apple IIc.
- I like to play with numbers, logic puzzles, and electronics.
- I hate sports.
- I was able to check off a lot of stuff in the knowledge sections, like Unix and the three laws of robotics.
Not much else, though. I also thought it was unfair that the test has a bias towards female geeks, as they get 5 extra points at the end.
Life's too short to be cool. Be a nerd.
31.7 something percent.
well.. hmm3.15582 - Poser
Bear in mind that this test doesn't cover everything. If you're a self tought sysadmin who attends MIT but doesn't watch movies or play RPGs, you are likely to score lower. I think what really makes you a geek is your fascination with a certain intellectual or academic subject, usually technology, and also your knowledge and skill in that area, often coupled (at least in my case) with poor social skills. Watching Star Trek, playing Warhammer, sitting in the front of class, etc. are things that sort of go along with being a geek. They are evidence of geekhood, sort of like owning gay porn is evidence of being gay.
Life's too short to be cool. Be a nerd.
Hmm.. that's true mate![]()
