A 1.8 AMD Sempron, 1024 ddr ram, 1 80 gb Western Digital HD with Kubuntu 7.04 on and 1 80 gb Maxtor HD with Ubuntu 5.04 on. 128 Vid Card, Logi tech 5.1 speakers and a Creative 5.1 sound card.

I have had this for 3 years and I am happy with it. I know some people don't like AMD but it seems good so far.

Not a bad system for Linux - I imagine it runs fine. What version of Linux are you using?

7.04 Kubuntu Feisty Fawn. It just came out. I have been using Ubuntu/Kubuntu since the Hoary Hedge Hog days or 5.04.

They are good and I get many upgrades between full version upgrades which are 2 - 3 times a year. And is a piece of cake to update to the new version as well.

They seem to be a well organized organization and if you do not want to download and burn the Distro they will send it to you free and pay the postage.

Kubuntu is basically the KDE version of Ubuntu which uses Gnome as default and XBuntu uses the Xfce desktop and it is a lighter version of Kubuntu/Ubuntu.

My computer runs sweet, no crashes and seems rock solid.
