    Custmize your desktop

    DESKTOP MODDING

Im posting on codecall after a lot of months, so excuse me Jordan if something is wrong. Good to see you high up Xav.

Well to start with, there is a huge array of softwares which can provide some good amount of eye-candy for your desktop but most of them come for a price. They include Window blinds – undoubtedly the first choice followed by Aston shell and others which transform your desktop into something better than the boring “windows”. But there is one thing though; they all come for a price…

A good and free alternative to all these would be “Samurize”. Samurize is a free software which allows you to display custom text on screen. But there’s more to it than just displaying text. You can use Samurize to create a killer desktop which otherwise, can be attained only by the use of widgets. But how far and how well you can go is all about your power of imagination. This is what I could end up with.

his has been achieved by the sole use of free softwares.

Is that for Windows? Because the layout does not look like it..

this is not changing anything in the shell irreversibly. So it is 100% safe. Bet it.
And Xav, you are skyrocketing up...i still remember your old days..your love for VB, is it still there?

Nope, I am more into web design now, although my favourite desktop language would be C#.
