Hello everybody, I have been reading a bit about “applied” quantum theory and have come across lines that state that it is a unique way of controlling ones thoughts and bringing a powerful, quick and “wholesale” change in and around us. I would like you all to express your views on this and if you have something interesting to add, please do share!!!
I have no idea what your example is referring to. Practical applications include nuclear reactors.
And Quantum computing.
Dominic, I've deleted your link as it does NOT appear to be related to the original question at all. He was asking about practical applications (of which there are many in the field of electronics), not money making scams.
Well, I think these practical applications have yet to be explored and further investigated by science. There are already studies showing how cognitive-affective patterns have an electromagnetic signature which in turn affects DNA (and thus health; think psychoneuroimmunology). But in general, we need to start tracking these applications.
Daily life is messy and too difficult for science to control for (which is why science does not offer interpretations for meanings of life events)...so it's up to each of us to start exploring how our thoughts affect our lives.
Since there wasn't technically anything relating to business or legal issues I've moved this thread.
You know, I think for the time being these practical daily-life applications are best to be explored informally by people. For science this question is way too overloaded, and there are way to many things that would have to be controlled for that wouldn't be possible for our present science and technology.
That's why I like to take notes on what I find in my own life and make sure that I am going about it in an honest manner.
I think these are all great ideas and we will continue to learn more about any practical applications as our research grows. We've learned more about the brain than we have in the past century. When we learn more about the brain we will also learn more about consciousness and the subconscious. From there we will have a better foundation to see how consciousness affects physical matter.
