Ubuntu start menu

Hello people here with more questions . I want to know that how can I remove all the choices when i start my pc and select ubuntu , then again a screen comes with recovery mode ubuntu this mode that mode , can't i just edit and whenever I select ubuntu from the main menu (when it comes to choose from Windows Or Ubuntu )then ubuntu should directly start instead of all those 4-5 modes that it shows
