What is your favorite brand of linux?

For all you linux ponies out there (I'm using Windows, see blog), what is your favorite brand of linux? There is a ****load of them to pick from so what makes you pick the one you are using?

Ubuntu and Mint are on my radar for my next install, though I've had good experiences with RedHat/Fedora.

Ubuntu works well as a desktop OS and a server. I've also used and like OpenSuse, Sabayon, CentOS and Redhat/Fedora.

I like Gentoo for the same reasons I like semi-low level programming. I have Arch on one of my USB sticks (see my LiveUSB tutorial). I never really got comfortable with Ubuntu for some reason..

Ubuntu is okay... but not my favorite. I think I preferred Mandriva way more. Also Linux Mint, Sabayon, and Puppy Linux. ^_^
    Wow I changed my sig!

I don't like puppy.. It's easy to use, but I never really liked it. Don't they have Cat-Linux?

    Mint7 is excellent!
it's Ubuntu 9 + a lot of work of the Mint people

so it has the benefits of Ubuntu 9 + the benefits added by the Mint community
for example everything work out of the box, it has a lot of drivers, flash, video codecs, vlc, ... installed

also it has the best Gnome Look I ever saw, if you want to try Linux, there is only 1 way to go, Mint

I actually have Mint on my cell! I like Mandrivia though, it is really one of 3 I have really tried though so I am not giving it a fair chance.

Tried quite a few, but recently installed Gentoo.
It was a PITA to install and configure but for
some unknown reason, I enjoyed every minute of it,
over 3,000 minutes to be more precise.
    compiling... compiling... and more compiling...
