The server or all the computers?

In my other thread I asked if Linux was worth the trouble, but now that I'm thinking.. would we be safe if we only install Linux on the servers and leave all the other computers running on windows? or the network will still be more vulnerable because of the windows computers?

It depends on how you setup your network. Are you going to allow inbound traffic from the Internet to any server? Will you have a DMZ? Like WP's response, maybe.

Well... we have an intranet system.. that is the only inbound traffic from the internet that we allow. So we only have certain information available online but since all of the servers and computers are on the same lan sharing the same data, we are still worried.
