Change date and time format

My system is Eee PC 901 20 GB. I have made only a change to Full Desktop. The tray clock shows in AM/PM format and the date is shown as mm/dd/yy. I want a 24-hour clock with the date as dd/mm/yy format. Any idea on how do I get the settings changed for my need? I am clueless.

Re: Change date and time format

Right click on the date/time and select preferences. You can change it in there to 24 hour time format, I believe.

Re: Change date and time format

Aren't there any regional settings in Linux? (I'm sure that during setup there is something like that were you setup your time zone etc.. so probably there should be something like regional settings where you can set this) just in case what Jordan said will not work.
