What does your sudoer file look like (/etc/sudoer)? Do you get any kind of error message indicating why it fails?

Did you manage to solve this problem? I had a few problems with sudoers myself recently - it's a pretty fussy thing to get working. I found the man pages very helpful - you can read the manual online if it's easier - I haven't made enough posts to be allowed to post links, but you can find it at sudo.ws
