Error during list population: cannot operate...

When I use the Spritz Package Manager I get this error:

Error during list population: Cannot operate on a closed database., Retrying in 1 second

But it doesn't ever appear to "retry". Anyone know the fix?

Are you in Sabayon? This is a confirmed bug and they have it fixed in the latest SVN release but not in any package yet. Exit and try to update again. It seems this last version of Sabayon had many errors and that is the ending reason I switched back to OpenSuse 11.1.
