    Usb

    Ok im looking for a Flash drive (or floppy drive (yes there are some) linux. I am looking for a decent one for an old system (or low ram). It needs to be able to run on hard disk to (can have boot disk i dont care)..

    Thank you i have a coppy of it but it never works (freazes in gui) but works perfect in terminal so yeah i might just keep it for old laptop.

    What size is your flash drive? I've put Sabayon and Ubuntu live boot CDs on an 8Gb one before. The problem I encountered was data becoming corrupt (IE, the flash drive being to unstable for OS read/write).

    It needs to focus on old computers. thats what i have old 2001 laptop and 2005 desktop(selling) and probly gettting a old 98 laptop (or rebuilding my 99 compaq presario 5000)

    Have you looked at Knoppix? I know it used to fit on a 650 MB CD ROM.

    yeah i can, but rite now im looking into older computers (cheaper for me im broke). any way i'll look into it

    Wrong forum. Try a blogging forum, internet forum, promotion forum, etc. Or, try wikipedia.
