    Ubuntu seems to be a very popular distribution for Linux users. It is user friendly and easy to install/use. Give it a try.

    Slackware is about the opposite of simple to use. It is meant for people who are deeply into Linux and understand it well. I would not recommend it as your first Linux.

    Ow.. thanks for sugestion maybe i can try the Ubuntu in Virtual before installing on my computer. How to create virtual computer with Ubuntu, can you give a step ? Thanks

    Download the vmware player: VMware Player - Run Multiple Operating Systems with Free VMware Download - VMware (it is free) and then go download ubuntu from here: Virtual Appliance Marketplace, Virtual Appliances, VMware Appliance - VMware (also free).
