If we use Wine won't the windows application run on linux?
Wine doesn't have full support for all Windows-features. Therefore will not all Windows applications run correctly. Some will may not run at all; and some will miss some functionality.

Thanks for the list.. I really miss some applications of windows while using Linux, but this list will help me to 'feel at home'

These are still not an exact clone of the windows programs.. but their functionality is nearly the same.
