Pending status

I get the “Pending" status error message, as well as the "No dhcp offers" message, when I connect to wireless network. I just got my 900a system.
I figure it isn't a router problem, since my wireless connection for my Xbox 360 works fine. Can anybody help me out?

Do you have any Mac filtering on your router? If so, this would cause the problem if your new machine doesn't have the mac address added. I've had that happen to me before.

Does your linux installation support the type of encryption that your router is using? I had that problem in Sabayon sometime ago.. maybe not the exact error.. but I don't remember what was the exact error, so maybe this could help you too.

Figure out how to login into your router, and then change the encryption from there...

I have an MSI router... but I have no idea how to login.. someone told me something about knowing the ip of the router, how can I find that?
