    OMG What's that

    Well.. It's me using Ubuntu.. haha Well.. I ordered this free CD from their site and I got it today.. What can I say.. Weird. Very weird for me..
    I don't know what to do with it.. thank god you can just test it without installing it.. that's nice.. i would like to try those desktop 3d thingys also also my keyboard is in english and I don't know how to change it



    It looks like I made it But I still haven't seen those visual things

    You only have 2 desktops? Dont most linuxs have 4? Or is that an option?

    Click on the System drop down at the top, you'll be able to change your preferences there. Are you using the Live CD or did you install it?

    well.. atm Im using live cd.. but I installed it but I get this Errror :18 :/ I don't know what it is..

    Yeah on the bottom right you can click and change desktops.

    Jaan, if you haven't fixed that "Error: 18" problem, what that means is that the BIOS is informing GRUB that your hard drive is too large for it to handle. You should go into your BIOS settings, and look over the HDD mode, you'll have to do a little exploring but I think you'll find it. It should be "normal" (or "large" if you have a really big one), I believe. Try that, see if that works out for you.

    And yes, most Linux installations have multiple desktops, allowing you to have some open windows on one, and other open windows on others. You can integrate this with Compiz for some nice graphical effects and a rotating cube! Try it out.
