Hi,
Which distros support blu ray so far? And have blu ray movie players
Most (if not all) modern distributions support blu ray. You can burn to it with burning tools such as Nero. I believe you can watch the movies from any media player.
So media players dont require some huge codecs or anything?
I dont thing they require.. Only minor upgrades required...
I'm not sure what codecs they use or if they are any different than what a DVD would use.
Has anyone ever opened a blu ray DVD? And see the files in it? Is it like normal DVD files?

Wtf are you talking about? How could you open one and "see" the files. The files are burned onto the Blu Ray disk as tiny little micro bumps (1s) or flats (0). You can't see files anyway.
In windows you would go on my computer and press right click on the drive and open it without autorun, that way you will open the disc and view the files.
Oh. I mis-understood. You simply need to mount the disc and you can browse/surf it. Some distrobutions auto-mount when you put the CD/DVD/Blu Ray in (I think Ubuntu, OpenSuSe, Sabayon, etc) and you'll just need to browse the mount point.
