Is Ubuntu supposed to detect SDcards? Because I'm inserting one into my laptop.. but can't seem to find it anywhere, I can't mount it or whatever... it's like it's not being detected.
Any help?
Thanks
Is your hardware being detected in general? I know some versions of Linux can detect SD cards.
How can I check if it is recognized?
I found this link: Support for SD card-reader? [Archive] - Ubuntu Forums which may help
Seems like it only supports external ones![]()
I have a laptop with an internal SD card reader that is running linux (EEE PC) and don't have a problem. Having everything configured by ASUS to work right helps, though![]()
Yeah, but because it was created by ASUS itself, so for sure it will make it own hardware compatible...
What has a website to do with Sd cards?
SD cards are used with Linux and Ubuntu. I don't know why you are having this problem.
