    Question Wine or Cedega

    What do you think, guys? What's better? I know that Cedega is the commercial equivalent of Wine that is still free to use. Share your personal experience here.

    Cedega is made for games while Wine is more for apps (although some games work). With Cedega you get a guarantee that certain games will work. I guess it depends on what you want it for.

    Yeah, I completely agree with you. Wine is more for apps while Cedega is pro at gaming emulation

    I like Wine though. Here is why:

    1) It is FREE!!
    2) Most games that Cedega run work with Wine
    3) It runs apps also!
    4) It is FREE!!

    Yup, the major plus of Wine is that it's free as in free beer
