    Emulated games and performance

Will wine reduce the games performance as when it comes to lag and FPS (Frames per second)

As this is an emulation, will that make a difference?

I'm pretty sure that Wine will reduce the performance of a game (and applications), but it will not be much. I'm not sure exactly how much the performance is reduced.

Yes I too agree, as it is completely software emulated.

Your games will have a slower FPS but their shouldn't be any lag since you are still using your same internet connection (your internet connection isn't being emulated).

Yeah, your game/system performance will decrease a lot. I have tried to emulate Battlefield 2142 and the performance was pretty terrible on my sucky ATI card

The game ran badly? What FPS did you get and what FPS did you get on Windows?
