WMP 11 on Linux

Well as you may know, WMP requires validation, and I don't think that wine is able to pass the validation, because every time I press validate it freezes.

So is there any way of installing WMP 11 using wine or any other application?

I don't this it's possible unless you find a cracked (ILLEGAL) version of it.

I don't think there is a cracked version. Besides, you have to verify your Windows before downloading

Why would you want to run WMP on Linux? That thing is crap compared to half of the beta software on Windows.

I think MS have removed the WGA check on IE and WMP now. Even though the workaround has been patched, you can still try it with wine.
