    MSN on wine?

Anyone got MSN to work for wine? I installed it, but it crashes every time.

Does that mean I done something wrong? Or maybe it's just not compatible.

Why do you want MSN Messenger, when there are other, better, open-source alternatives for Linux (aMSN, Pidgin, ...)?

hehe.. I agree on that too. But those people that are used with MSN will find pidgin a little strange, I find it strange too, in fact I don't use it much while I'm on Windows.

You're right, it can be strange when you use it for the first time, but when you've learned how to use it, you're glad that you changed.

I use Pidgin in Windows and Linux. I love it (I like Trillian better but it costs money). You can use MSN online messenger. Also, isn't AMsn basically the same as MSN?

aMSN has only support for MSN, which Pidgin, and other programs alike, has support for several protocols. Also, aMSN tries to emulate Windows Live, while Pidgin just has its own look.

I use Pidgin, too It's a neat and simple program that just works! No need for the bulky MSN.
