    Removing Linux

What is the best method for removing a Linux installation / partition? I need to replace it with another Linux flavor

I would just remove the old partition completely, and overwrite it with another.

I agree with v0id. Either delete the partition or just format it when you install your new Linux flavor.

I absolutely agree with you. Be careful with the partitions, though. One time I deleted a very important partition with all my movies on it

I just formatted it when I installed the new Linux. Linux did most of the work for me.
