How can I change the resolution of the login screen of Ubuntu?
My monitor doesn't seem to display the default resolution very good, and it's very ugly.
Thanks for the help.
Try using this:
Change the res to whatever.Code:aticonfig --resolution=0,1024x768
Does the aticonfig has to do anything with ATI cards? Because I have an NVIDIA... and what is the leading zero in here ...ion=0,1024x768 ?
So If I just copy/paste your command into the Terminal it will have a 1024x768 resolution?
I'm not sure. I was wondering if it had something to do with ATI cards as well. I don't know what the 0 is.
Well no problem, I found the command to reconfigure XServer and I reconfigured it, now it seems like everything is fine.
Thanks anyways.
