Default How good is that Joe Grip thing?

I'm thinking of buying that Joe Grip java course. I've been trying to learn Java but I really don't have a lot of time to fully dive into programming at the moment. Besides, I'm a pretty visual learner and I'm not too good at learning from books, AND I'm only looking to program "on the side", more for the fun of it than actually taking it on as a career (though I'm sure it might come in handy some time...). That Joe Grip thing seems great to me, but is it? $29 is cheap and would be perfect for a high school student like me, but before I spend my money on anything I want to know how well would my money be spent? And how far will this get me? It seems too good to be true, and most cheap things on the web are in fact not true.

Does anyone have experience with Joe Grip? Or can anyone tell me how good you think it might be?
