weblogic - deploy a web module (silence deploy)

hi,
i have problem with weblogic server (8.1). when i wont to deploy a web module (.war) on my server i can't do it.
i choose the file which i wont to deploy and click the 'Deploy' button, then (i waiting...) weblogic reload the page and i'm on the page of weblogic administration console when i have to again choose the file which i wont to deploy (Select the archive for this Web application module).
in logs of weblogic server there aren't any logs about the deploy.
i don't known what i have to do.

i'm using the ubuntu 7.04 os and java 1.4.2

if you can help me, please write.

ps.
in war package there is all stuff for example(web.xml, weblogic.xml and another files)
i building the package using the ant script (but there are no errors in compiling ant building war)
