I have a JSP page which asks the user to enter some date.The user is allowed to enter the date in the format like"2007-02-29".Now when it is taken into some jsp variables,it is treated into string.I have tried a lot of techniques but no way. Have an idea,about how to insert this value to the mysql table whose,corresponding field is set to date format(0000-00-00);
What special can I do either in JSP or mysql query.Expecting kind of help.
