Making a Java program that fills out forms for me?

Is it possible to make a Java program that can do stuff online for me? Like open up Firefox, switch to a proxy by going through a list and then clicking on a dynamic link for me?

I'm sure there is, but isn't there an add-on for something like that already? I could have sworn there was, unless I'm mistaken.

I didn't mean that as in you shouldn't try writing it, I just meant that I think there already is something you could use to save yourself the time if the only reason you wanted to write it was for your own convenience.
