    Betfair bot.

    Hi guys,

I am about to start learning Java with a long term goal of building a bot for the Betfair betting exchange using thier API.I have programmed a fair bit of VB6 before this but Im looking forward to rolling up the sleeves and start learning again!

My problem is I havent a clue which IDE to go with.Iv been reading about Netbeans and Eclipse.Ant thoughts in these or any other IDEs anyone would reccomend taking a look at?

    Any responses greatly appreciated!

Netbeans and Eclipse are the two best and most used IDE's for Java. There are a few other ones like BlueJ but I suggest you stick with the top two. They both are very similar in the way projects are set up so if you learn how to use one the other one should be very easy to understand.
