The official ionFiles "todo" list for upcoming version 4.3:

1. Allow limit per category to show. Use JavaScript to hide rows > limit and display rows once the next or prev button is clicked.
2. Allow icons larger than 16x16
   This is currently hard coded.....
3. Allow limit total categories displayed per page.
4. Look into searching on the fly using JavaScript instead of MySQL.
5. Increase icon size
6. Allow footer options to be removed when using single category view.
7. Allow top/bottom selection of search bar
8. Make valid XHTML
9. Add "Hot", "New", "Featured" and "Updated" icons
   Option to enable each feature
   Option to specify how long "New" stays new
   Option to specify how many downloads required for "Hot"
   Option to select "Featured" or "Picked" for each file
10. Disclaimer page
    Webmaster can enable this per file
    Webmaster enters the disclaimer per file

Considering:

1. Automatically display icons for known file types
   Not sure how to work out the custom icons users may select
2. Automatically scanning a directory and adding all files
   Unable to generate title, description, etc.
