Allow users to upload files into ionfiles..?

I have Joomla 1.5 with legacy mode and have installed ion files 3.4,

everything is running smooth (great/neat program) but now i want a registered user to be able to add files to the ion files page...
can this be done? (so the upload a file without having to do it by the backend).

No, this can't be done. In fact you can't upload files even from the admin CP. Upload PHP scripts are one of the biggest security risks and at this point I refuse to add it to ionFiles.

Instead, can i then get a user to create a new file name with the location? then later on i can upload the file so it becomes a working download?

im trying to make my site very frontend orientated for my publishers/editors.
