The only time I have seen this happen is when ionFiles has been installed on Joomla! 1.5. What version are you using?

There is no set date as of yet but hopefully within the next two-three months. Have you tried installing it using Legacy mode in 1.5?

Any update?
Should this work with Joomla 1.5 ? I noted my exact same problem here "http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,175290.msg838082.html" "ionfiles: backend is not working. I can't add categories or files. When I try to do that, I get the configuration page instead. And on top of that the configuration page has no 'save' button" I also noted the following in I.E7 - Status bar - 1 item remaining to download. Error is: Line 28 Char: 17 Error: 'undefined' is null or not an object Code: 0 URL: http://www.mywebsite.com/joomla/admi...les&act=config |

No, it should not work in Joomla 1.5 yet. I did some testing with Joomla 1.5 in Legacy mode and it seemed to work for me that is why I suggested it but it isn't support yet.
