    Exclamation [Resolved] No File Selected

    It seems that I am having an issues that was resolved in an earlier version of ionfiles, and I do have the latest version which was installed two days ago.

    I am able to add categories and files, plus it shows up in the frontend, but when clicked upon it goes to a blank page and only says No File Selected.

    I have already uploaded all of 40 files or so and none of them are larger than 4MB. I know the link that entered in the file path is correct, because I can place the link in the browser and it will start to download the file.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank You!

    Can you guys post your download URL link?

    At the top of download.php is where this check takes place:
    Code:
    # Run Checks
    #----------------------------
    if ($file == "") {
      print
    "Error: No File Selected";
      die();

    When you mouse-over the file download link do you see a URL such as http://www.yourdomain.com/download.p...mydownload.com ?

    no ideas? I also tried RSFiles, AF Manager and some other Components but ionFiles is still the best of them. I want to use it as sonn as possible.

    I can download the file when I click on "more". But when i klick on the file name, it still says "no file selected".

    EDIT: Thanks Jordan. Select "Easy Thumbnails" on this page --> Stockcar-News.de - intern.

    Jordan,

    Here is the frontend page that is supposed to link to the download files, PromoPrinto.com

    Also, this is the page where I am trying to link for all of my downloads:
    Index of /pt

    Please let me know what I have to do or if I need to edit the php file, and I thank you again.

    Version 3.4 is released. Install this version and it should work.

    Does it need to be a clean installation or upgrade, because I added a lot of links that I don't really want to do again? Thanks.

    I was able to install the new _com but I deleted it from FTP first, thanks. One question, I have two ionfiles on the component drop down selection; how can I delete one of them? Thanks again and works just as designed.

    You need to uninstall via Joomla! to get rid of the menu entries. The reason you have two now is because you deleted it from the filesystem and then installed instead of doing what I said above. I think that using the uninstaller on both entries and then re-installing will solve your problem.

    All of your files/categories will remain.
