How to upgrade a current install

I would like to upgrade to the newest version, but I am not sure how. This is the first time one of the components I am using is being upgraded.

    Some guidance is appreciated.

    Thanks
    Larry

What version are you currently using?

Since 3.0 the upgrade instructions are:

    1) Uninstall ionFiles
    2) Reinstall newest version of ionFiles

If you are using 3.0 or later all of your files and categories will remain. If you are using a version previous to ionFiles 3.0 you will either have to dump your database and import it after install or re-add all of your categories/files manually.

    Thanks for the response.

I installed in November with the current release at that time, so I am going to say I am on 3 or higher.

Yes, you probably had 3.2 or 3.1 if you used Novembers release.

Thanks Jordan. I did not think it would be so easy to upgrade. I guess I thought it was a more complicated task.
