problem with ionfiles

hello everybody!
i'm sara and i'm an italian woman. i have a big (or not?) problem with ionfiles..
yesterday i downloaded in my mambo Mambo 4.6.2 the component ionfiles. zip.. i add my files in ftp server (root/htdocs/downloads/pagina. pdf) .. i open my ionfiles by mambo and in FILE URL i write w. quitasolviaggi. it/root/htdocs/downloads/pagina. pdf (is it correct??)
and in APPLICATION URL w. quitasolviaggi. it/root/htdocs/downloads (ok??or not?)

in SIZE i must add any size? or is it automatic?

then.. when i open my site.. the table is perfect but... whwn i open the file......

the error is "You are not authorized to view this resource" (pubblic access or not is indifferent because if i register my account i see the same words..)

can you help me??

When you add the URLs you add "http://www.yourdomain.com/downloads/pagina.pdf" not the server path to the files (/root/htdocs/downloads/pagina.pdf). Try this and it should resolve your problem.

The file size is not automatic but it is optional. You can leave it blank if you like.
