Put your file anywhere in your http documents directory and link to them like the above level.
hello,
I met the same problem as a person met here, that is " No download but error"
Warning: parse_url() expects exactly 1 parameter, 2 given in /home/......./components/com_ionfiles/download.php on line 159
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/....../components/com_ionfiles/download.php:159) in /home/....../components/com_ionfiles/download.php on line 62 to ............line 71
could you tell me how to sovle that problem? My configuration of Joomla is stable version, and also where to put my download files is suitable? Seems i cannot put it anywhere i like.... could you give samples...Really wish you can provide a detailed manual on how to configure this tool....thanks.
also sorry for mistake by creating a new threat here as "download problems".
Hi,
to setup download files:
1. create folder for example in Joomla! root (/downloads)
2. In File URL simply add : URLtoJoomla/downloads/file.zip
Thank you very much thejackal,
i just did it last night, seems i used to make simple things complicated.thank you very much again.
