Hi!
Strange, but still with version 2.0.0 downloading a PDF-file only works with marking "yes" to "File download?" on my machine.
When I mark "no" to this queation Acrobat Reader (6 & 7) still reports an error due to a corrupt file.
The downloaded file has now a size of 462 Bytes. (Same with a JPG-file)

Friedel

Interesting, I will test this and see if I can replicate the error. Can you post your URL in the meantime?
Hi Jordan
you have a private mail with the URL.

Here is the beta that I mentioned in my PM. Please see if this fixes your problems.
Well, I tested 2.1 beta but still it does not download the file correctly.
(You still got my URL for your testing.)

Thanks, I'll take a look at this very soon. I have an idea of how to get around this problem.
Wouldn't it be smart to use relative paths (starting at the Joomla directory) instead of absolute paths?

Friedel
Replace the download.php with this one.
Done!
But there is no improvement.
Does it matter that in the new download.php it says: "error_reporting(0);" ?
Regads,
Friedel
That would be because I attached the wrong one. Try this one and let me know when it is installed.
