thank u smith, ur almost right iam 25 yrs ~10 months old, u guessed it from my name dagger1980 right?
i have good concepts in databases specially oracle iam learning oracle databases,
iam novice in programming hope to develop a simple software initially and then build upon it after becoming an expert in programing please can u guide me where should i start, what to learn initially

Umm I think that your first programming langauge should be Pascal/Visual Basic?
Pascal will not let you make good GUI programs but in my experience it will show you the basics like loops arrays and stuff like that and then you can upgrade to Visual Basic, and perhaps C++....
