hey guys im a 3rd year IT student at NMMU and im supposed to do ma 3rd year project this year.thing is im a little short on ideas,so plz guyz if u got any 4 me feel free 2 *** through.it will be appreciated

It doesn't have to be complex.The project must just be big enough for me to work on the whole year.I don't want anything hectic.anything to do with databases would be nice.

Web based or Desktop?

Web Based - Create a website...
Desktop - FTP Client, SSH Client, Unzipper (like winRAR). Go to download.com and search for apps. If you find one you like try to make a replica of it. What language are you using anyway?
