Hi, my background is in GIS and the use of data in it. After a long period out of work, I have got a job in a retail data processing company. The section I'm working in are responsible for the input of data from automated emails into the companys database, this is done using Excel and VB macros. It looks very interesting, and as of yet they haven't realised I'm actually not a programmer!!! (I say yet).
I haven't done any programming since back in Uni days and its looking very interesting, I'm currently blowing a few cobwebs off and trying to remember what to do. So if your an experienced Excel vb programmer email me, I think I could be your best mate. You might even earn a few beers from me.....
Well hello to all, hopefully speak to you at one time or another.
Neil

Minnesota is immediately north of Iowa, and contains the town I spent the first 18 years of my life![]()

Sorry away, had to take the family to Ice Hockey, quite popular actually here. Surprisingly won, when all the players we have, are actually have been Canadians and Americans (Brits don't actualy play!), just go along to watch the canucks and yanks having a punch up.
Right back to my vb homework and problems now.
