Sad to be said, but this forum is pretty much dead.

Pretty much all you will see here now, is spams.

When the forum was sold, we never really knew who was the new admin.

And pretty much just slowly left, see http://forum.codecal...80615-i-give-up

At the moment, there is only one moderator left, and his last connection was feb 08

So without anyone to stop spams, and anything, the forum is pretty much dead

Thank you WingedPanther73 for all that time.

I pretty much got the same reflection a while ago, and get the same result (but without the mugs or tshirts).

I had a lots of fun over the years here, and I know it's in big part because of you

Hope you'll find a new home (forum home) and have fun :)

#680630 Network for building

Posted by Vaielab on 01 October 2015 - 04:41 AM in The Lounge

At work, we are building our new office from the ground!

Of course, the computer department is only a small office in that building, but the whole building will be something pretty large on 4 level.

We will have 41 wireless access points, about 100 network plugs, at any time, there will be at least 60-70 person on the network, maybe 10 to 20 server (small server) running for differents tasks, for starting 2 nas for data sharing, and we would like to use remote control on many of theses computer to work on them.

So with that in mind, they ask me if I had any idea on what we will need for a router / switch to manage all that.

I know a little about network, but not enough to make the best decisions.

Do you have experience with that kind of setup?

Any product that worked well in the past?

True... I'm kinda starting to feel bad reporting so many post :P

What about adding a recaptcha when registring for a new user?
