If anyone hasn't heard of w3schools.com, it's probably the best place online to learn HTML, XHTML, and many other programming languages. It helped me learn HTML in just a matter of days, and I know a lot of other people who have used it too.

i'm quite experienced in most languages but always refer to this site when i've forgotten something, really useful one for the bookmarks

wow thanks i have been studying html for a month or 2 now this helps me way more than my books and online .pdf's

I also use w3schools quite a bit as a reference when I forget syntax for certain things. They do have some inaccurate information in their CSS section though. I haven't looked at it in a while, so they may have updated it.

I haven't been to it in a long time, but I used to look at it a lot when I forgot little syntax things. I think I'll check it out now, see if it looks any different.
