Do you write html in notepad?

It's a Microsoft product? I guess the WYSIWYG may not be so good.... but the text-editor might be a good thing to try.

I find VWD is a lot easier to use than Dream Weaver. I like how VWD looks a lot like Visual Studio which I'm more used to.

THe WYSIWIG and code editor is absolutely excellent for writing ASP.NET websites, if you're into that sort of thing - the advanced code view with complete IntelliSense and syntax support, and the design view with properties window and toolbox... you feel completely at home. It's not too bad for normal HTML files as well.

I used to write html in notepad++. But nowdays I don't do html.

I'm going to get Microsoft Expression Web which when I tried it seemed like VWD and if I buy it and it doesn't work, I get tech support from Microsoft I think?

Well, I don't use Notepad. I use Notepad++.

but i originally learned in notepad.

As chili5, I used to use notepad when doing html.(Which is when I started to learn about it.) Also I did simple php codes in notepad; but those were old days.
