I have Computer Studies @ school and our teacher told us that its important making pseudocode and Algorithims and flowcharts, Well sometimes I do it. But im sure that not everyone does this! Do you do it? and why?
Thanks
No, I do not do this. I think it wastes time although your programs will turn out better (so I've been told). Most of the time I'm not even sure how I'm going to do something until after I've done it so how am I supposed to write pseudocode and flowcharts?????
Here is another thread about it:

You should make a pseudocode tutorial/howto! That would be great for newbs here.
Oww, umm I would think about it! Thanks for your suggestion!
I do a lot of psuedo code, however I agree with Lop on the fact that sometimes I have no idea how to do something until after I've already done it the wrong way and have to try something else. This is how I have learned most of the stuff I know about programming, doing in the half-assed way then fixing it to be compliant with standards.
Nice work Tcm, just posted my first tutorial which is a simple "Hello World" tutorial! I'll post more eventually.
To answer the original question, I hardly ever do flow-charts but will do psuedocode.
